FAQ

Does it handle daylight saving time? +

Yes. The clock uses your browser's Intl.DateTimeFormat API with the city's IANA time zone, which automatically applies the correct offset for the current date including DST transitions.

Can I add cities not in the list? +

Version 1 supports a preset list of 29 major cities. Custom city entry is planned for a future release.

Where does the time data come from? +

All times are computed in your browser using the JavaScript Intl API — no external time service is called. The accuracy depends on your device clock.

Is my city selection saved? +

Yes, the selection is stored in localStorage under a versioned key and restored automatically on your next visit.

Does the clock update automatically? +

Yes. The time for all displayed cities updates every second using a JavaScript interval.
